Southern District Court, Federal – Order that may help for Disney Theft cases

Schulte v. NCL, 22 Fla. L. Weekly Fed. D574 (So. Dist. Fla., Jan 25, 2011): Court Order on Discovery – I’m no wiz at this law thing but I came across this case dealing with civil discovery issues.  A cruise line had cameras on board and they happened to catch a slip and fall incident.  The plaintiff wanted a copy of the video before the deposition and the defendant moved to prevent that claiming work product.  The judge, in a lengthy order, said it was not work product and thus needed to be disclosed immediately.

For anyone who has wanted a copy of a Disney World video from one of their parks when they claim “theft,” you can appreciate anything that may help you actually get it for your client.
